ABOUT
US
The
Canadian Progress Club of Brampton was formed in 2001 joining the Brampton-Bramalea
(chartered 1980) and Brampton Buffy’s Corners (chartered 1989).
Both clubs were established with a mixed membership (men
and women), providing the good fortune of making the amalgamation an easy
one. Bringing together this strong membership enabled ongoing projects
to take on a new life as well as introducing the members to other community
needs.
In 1980, the Newmarket Men’s club chartered the
Brampton-Bramalea club with Gary Kisil as it’s Charter President.
In 1989, the Brampton-Bramalea club chartered Brampton’s Buffy’s
Corner’s with Al Brannon as the Charter President. In 2001, Brampton-Bramalea
President, again Gary Kisil worked with Buffy’s Corners President
John Holman, to unite both clubs for a strong, vibrant Brampton club.
